Born from a chance mushroom foraging expedition, Thomas Andersson and Daniel Mølhave discovered more than just fungi in the forest - they unearthed a musical connection that would become Mycelium. Residing in the same apartment complex in Copenhagen, the duo creates intimate, organic compositions that capture the essence of their surroundings, whether it's the warmth of a living room jam session or the natural resonance of the forest floor.
Drawing from Nordic jazz and folk traditions, with influences ranging from pop to classical impressionism, Mycelium's sound evokes comparisons to artists like Svaneborg Kardyb, Anders Widmark, and Bremer & McCoy. So far, Mycelium have released three singles, which serve as the first releases leading up to the duo's debut EP coming next year.
