Copenhagen based FERN combines electronic pop with singer-songwriter traditions to create a vulnerable and sophisticated cinematic soundscape.
The songs touch on topics such as loneliness and cognitive dissonans and are based on lead singer, Signe Jacobsen's own life. Through unfeigned lyricism the songs tell us about the intoxication of love alongside painful break ups and the scars they leave on us. At the same time FERN creates a musical image of ourselves rising from the ashes to conquer the world anew.
