Kiss Me Scarlett - Let's Go

(27. juni 2012 11:01)
"Let's Go" is the fresh new single from the energetic Danish rock band Kiss Me Scarlett leadin towards the eagerly anticipated forthcoming debut album "Run Everything Down" released on 1 October 2012. Single and album were produced by the renowned team Mark Wills and Dan Hougesen (Dúné, The Blue Van) in Popshit Studios, Randers and Real Farm Studios, Moen.

The lyrics of Let's Go permeates the fundamental optimism and universal next-loving outlook on life backed by energetic guitars, an incredibly hooky tight rhythm section and a "devil-may-care" front vocal by singer and songwriter Simon Sode. Simon says the song: "Let's Go inspiration was from a bible passage that speaks of love as the greatest of all. The most beautiful definition of love ever described with words." This eloquently positive message goes straight to the heart as well as your rocking feet!

Kiss Me Scarlett in a very short time gained attention enough to attain global management from the UK and a record deal from the very selective Iceberg Records.

The upcoming Let's Go video sends us safely back to Kiss Me Scarlett's usual sunny and humorous world and like their two previous videos is directed and produced by Samuel Benjamin / Cambrell. Premiere broadcast is on 25/6.

The music has clear inspiration from bands like The Beatles, The Kinks and the even early Beach Boys while Kiss Me Scarlett live performances are more reminiscent of the British punk band The Clash.

Tim Schous is giving is a treat with his advents calendar, where he plays an intimate accustic session infront of a stranger.
